Postponement of The 7th Joint Meeting of the
American and Japanese Societies for Surgery of the Hand
Currently COVID-19 continues to spread both within Japan and the United States and when the pandemic will subside cannot be reliably predicted.
As we physicians are responsible for people’s health, we must do our utmost to overcome this medical crisis. Under the circumstances, the organizing committee has decided to postpone the 7th Joint Meeting of the American and Japanese Societies for Surgery of the Hand that had been scheduled for March 27–29, 2021 in Hawaii.
We are planning to reschedule the meeting for late March 2022 or 2023. Given the current situation, we hope to announce the revised arrangements in October of this year. We will notify you as soon as the new meeting date has been determined.
